Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina Jolie’s mother, has died of cancer at the age of 56.
Angelina, her brother, James Haven, and Brad Pitt were at the hospital (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) when she passed away.
Marcheline had been fighting cancer for more than seven years.
A private funeral was planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Women’s Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Cancer is such a terrible disease. I feel for Angelina and her brother. Let’s hope the press gives them space at this time of grief.
