The Los Angeles City Attorney wants Paris Hilton to spend 45 days in jail.
Paris is due to appear in court tomorrow on a probation violation, for driving on a suspended license. Hilton was on probation after pleading no contest last January to alcohol-related reckless driving. Hilton’s license was suspended as a result of her DUI charge.
Photographers have since caught the heiress driving around town, ignoring the orders to not drive. The City Attorney is set to argue that Hilton flagrantly violated the law. Hilton has stated that she thought she could drive all along. The City Attorney claims in the legal papers that that’s a bogus argument.
Hilton also failed to enroll in an alcohol education program within 21 days of the order directing her to do so. The legal papers ask that “Hilton be ordered to serve 45 days in County Jail.” Prosecutors also want her to be ordered “not to consume any alcohol for a continuous period of 90 days.” During that 90-day period, prosecutors want her “to be monitored for alcohol consumption … by use of a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM) device at her expense.”
Tracy Morgan was just fitted with the device last week. It monitors skin and can sense if you have had any alcohol.
The City Attorney wants her license suspended for an additional four months and they want her car impounded for 30 days.
Like the rest of you, I am really hoping that they make this stick. I don’t know who Paris thinks she is but she is certainly no better than any other person walking into that courtroom for the exact same charges. In fact, they should be even harder on her to set an example. And especially because she has been so blase about the whole ordeal as if she were above the law.
I say throw the book at that bitch to let her know her shit stinks just like everyone else’s. Then hear the country roar.

I wonder where they’ll get paper soes to fit those gnarly boats that serve as her feet?
Oh, oh, oh!!! I do so hope she goes to jail! She thinks rules don’t apply to her and this would be a nice change.
She needs to pay the price like everyone else – I hope they make an example out of her, if not it just sends a message to the world, if you have the name, game, $$$$ your crime goes away with nothing but a slap on the hand!!! Just like today the lady that was speeding cuz her Dad was in an ambulance and she was trying to reach the ER to catch up with him, and the cops were chasing her and would not let her at least get to the ER – they have dropped all charges against the lady, and the story has hit all over the place, there are exceptions, but for Paris….NO NO NO
