Katie Price (aka ‘Jordan’) and Peter Andre welcomed their first daughter in London Friday.

The baby was born via caesarian section at 8:49
a.m. Friday in London’s Portland Hospital and weighed 6
pounds, 13 ounces. She has yet to be named.

"Both Katie and the baby are happy and healthy
and will be spending the next few days resting in hospital," said the family’s spokesperson.

"Both
Peter and Katie are absolutely over the moon with the new addition to
their family and delighted to have a sister for Harvey and Junior—it is
a dream come true!"

There are plans for an official announcement to  take place later this afternoon outside the hospital.

Britney Spears dropped out of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘True Colors’ show because she wouldn’t be allowed to lip-sync.

Spears was expected to perform at the show in Los Angeles Saturday along with Erasure, Deborah Harry, The Dresden Dolls and The MisShapes with Jeffree Star.  But it looks like that won’t be happening as Britney refuses to sing live. Hmmph..some performer.

A source told The Sun, "Britney said she’d only lip-sync but to work with Cyndi, you have to perform."

Heh.  Britney Spears can’t sing.  Who knew?

Lily Allen, 21, was arrested in London Thursday on charges for punching a photographer.

The incident allegedly happened three months ago  as Allen left a nightclub in London with her boyfriend.

After her arrest Thursday, Allen was taken to a London police station, where she was photographed, fingerprinted and had a DNA sample taken.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said, "At approximately
1:30 a.m. on the 13th March a woman allegedly punched at a male
photographer in his 40’s, near the Wardour Club, W1. He suffered a cut
to the nose, but didn’t require any hospital treatment. Officers
attended but the woman had left.

"At approximately 9:30 a.m. on the 28th June, a 21-year-old
woman attended at London police station by appointment and was arrested
in connection with the allegation of assault. She has been bailed to
return
in late July."

I never got the whole, ‘I don’t  want to be famous, but  I just cut a deal with the record company and  made a video‘  whine. Allen has said numerous times in the past that she wishes she weren’t famous.  Well, you just might want to find another occupation then..!?

On the other hand, I would definitely be one of those bitches who swung at  paparazzi if caught in the right (or wrong) mood. So thank goodness I am not a celebrity.   I tend to like my privacy. So I can usually empathize with those celebs who take things into their own hands..just not Lily Allen.

Somebody altered Chris Benoit’s entry in Wikipedia to mention his wife’s death – before her body was found.

The Web bio was changed early Monday to say the pro wrestler
missed a match over the weekend because his wife had died. Hours later,
authorities found the bodies of the World Wrestling Entertainment star,
his wife and their 7-year-old son.

Cary Bass of Wikipedia traced the alteration to somebody using
an Internet protocol address registered in Stamford, Conn., the home
base of World Wrestling Entertainment, according to the Associated
Press.

An IP address, however, doesn’t have to be broadcast from its
registration location. Bass said it was unknown where the posting was
sent from, the AP reports.

The bodies were found in the family’s suburban Atlanta home. Authorities say Benoit asphyxiated his wife Nancy and their son Daniel before hanging himself.

Kevin Federline is leary of signing final divorce papers due to his estranged wife, Britney Spears‘, recent behavior.

The couple came to an agreeent in March, that once they sign the papers they would share joint legal and physical custody
of their boys.

"Britney’s attorneys are anxious to see Kevin sign off on a
divorce," a source in the Federline camp says. "But Kevin and his lawyer Mark Vincent
Kaplan are dragging their heels out of concern over reports of
Britney’s post-rehab partying."

the divorce document makes it simple enough for Kevin to downsize
Britney’s access to her kids the next time her behavior troubles him."
