Specifically My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way.
According to Starpulse, Way is the subject of a song on Manson’s new CD in which he accuses Way of trying to sound like him.
On the cut ‘Mutilation Is The Most Sincere Form Of Flattery’ Manson sings, "You steal instead of borrow/ You take all the shapes that I make/ Mutilation’s the most sincere form of flattery/ If you want to be me/ Then stand in line like the rest /F*ck you, f*ck you."
Manson went into more detail saying, "I’m embarrassed to be me because these people are doing a really sad, pitiful, shallow version of what I’ve done. If they want to identify with me then here’s a razor blade. Call me when you’re done and we’ll talk."
Manson and My Chemical Romance are both performing at the Download Festival in Donington Park, England on Friday.
Let’s hope Gerard kicks his ass.

Ummm… Wrong, wrong, and wrong. A) My Chemical Romance and a few others have shamelessly ripped off Manson. Manson himself has owned up to taking others ideas and making them his own. Which he has. And admitted to. B) Manson sounds nothing like Ministry. I think Uncle Al would be offended. Ministry was at the forfront of industrial/aggro/electronica/punk. NIN and Ministry set the tone for a lot of bands that came right on their heels.
This is just disturbing. MM used to be so good, Mechanical Animals was completely brilliant but sadly his 15 minutes are tick-tocking away quickly. He should have kept Twiggy (who did the majority of the best writing for MM). Bye Miss Marilyn, enjoy obscurity. We’ll miss you.

Doesn’t Marilyn Manson like giving off the impression that he doesn’t care what everyone thinks? He’s pretty much a condradiction of everything he tries to give off. I remember reading a piece about him in Spin where he pretty much listed everyone he thought was copying his style. Seriously, it was so tedious it got to the point where he was ripping into someone for wearing the same gloves as him. He needs to get off his self-delusional pedestal. His music was hardly ground breaking to start with and now it’s nothing but stale. Someone needs to tell him that a lot of people wear black coloured clothes, and it doesn’t mean that they’re f-ing trying to be him.

1.) MCR is a fucking BILLION times better and more epic than his shitty boo hoo spooky shit that got old long ago
2.) Gerard Way is fucking beautiful as well as dark, unlike manson who is fucking hideous and dark
3.) MCR is getting huge success and a bigger, broader following while MM is winding down and becoming nothing more than a mediocre musician and a creepy pedophile in hollywood
