Welcome to New York.
It is like watching the women on the morning commute and knowing they just moved and betting how long they will last until they switch to flats or flip flops for their commute and the harsh city streets.
I loved SATC, but watching all of them constantly walk around the city in heels was painful and I think a bit unrealistic.
That is my favorite outfit of hers from the whole season.
Yeah, you know–I’m a hairstylist and I’m 32 years old. All these younger stylist come in and work 8 to sometimes 12 hours a day in their high heels and wedges and whatnot. All I can think is how much damage they are doing to their back and feet and knees. My god. I mean yeah, it looks cute and all. But you’re standing on your feet all day! I’ll take some good boots of cushy flats any day over that crap. And god, why can’t they make crocs that actually look good? Those things are heaven but I’ll never wear them!
