Normal singers consider their voices an instrument - to be rested cared for, no smoking, very little drinking and no yelling and of course lots of practising.
Clearly she she ruined what little she had going for her. Perhaps that’s why she’s gone insane. Or gone more insane than a dumb hillbilly goes usually.

Britney’s talent is 95% image based talent. I’m not a Christina Aguilera fan but Christina has a far superior set of pipes as compared to Britney. Christina has that same annoying skanky image, though. Britney is the better dancer of the two, however. I have never owned nor would I ever own either Britney’s or Christina’s pop “music”. I sure as hell wouldn’t pay to see either of them in concert either.
Give me Amy Lee, Sarah MacLachlan, Enya, Alison Krauss, Sinead O’Connor anyday. These women rely on a classical sense of vocalization and do not have to sell their bodies, looks, etc. as they rely solely on their God given talent. Britney and Christina try so hard to be sexy and to be DIVAs. Some women just are DIVA without even having to try so hard.

Well let’s first all try to acknowledge the fact that Britney never could sing in the first place. Sadly her, how shall we say it?, lack of singing talent has gotten even worse. I personally always have heard her voice in the same horrid way as people are now starting to. Britney Spears, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, some even say Janet Jackson, all great entertainers, not at all singers. Britney unfortunately just needs to give it up go raise her babies and tell the kiddies what it used to be like to be on top.
