Lindsay Lohan and her slick attorneys struck a deal by pleading no contest to two counts of DUI.
Normally a second offender would serve four days in jail but the judge cut that down to two days if she performed 10 days of community service. Lindsay also received ‘credit’ for time served after she was arrested. (WTF!?)
She plead guilty to two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance and no contest to reckless driving.
So now Lohan will be on probation for three years. How much do you want to bet that she won’t make it?
Blowhan is to attend an alcohol education program for 18 months and was ordered to not use or hang out with those who use controlled substances. (Uh…helloooo! All of Hollywood?) To top things off she is also to keep receiving treatment at the rehabilitation center in Utah for an unspecified amount of time.
Talk about a slap on the wrist! I know people who have done far less than what she did and had been given a much harsher sentence with more time spent in jail. I am so disgusted!
Lindsay released this statement to TMZ today,
“It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.
Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have.
I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so.”

It’s like Isaiah ‘apologizing’ for anti-gay slurs. Apologize enough, and you might start to believe it. She should hook up with Tom Sizemore… Oh, wait, she probably already has.
Ofcourse it’s much too less. But on the other hand, every lousy day is a VICTORY!!
I think ordinary people that get caught with drugs, or driving under the influence should now just ask the judge if the can get the Lohan Deal. How about we petition for the Lohan Law then everybody can get off scott free.
