She may have said it and he may have said it… but that doesn’t mean any of us believe it.

When Heidi Montag (star of MTV reality show the Hills and best known for her very public argument with former best friend and Hills co-star Lauren Conrad) proclaimed she was recording a single, stomachs dropped. The new Paris Hilton of the reality TV world has been busy recording with what she calls “a string of high-profile producers” aka the 2 dollar studio in West Hollywood, with boyfriend Spencer Pratt as her publicist, manager and all-round PR.

Well, he’s not too dumb. After carefully leaving a copy of or bringing along a copy of Montag’s suspected first single to a radio interview at KISS FM, Pratt and Montag are said to be “furious” with America’s favorite Ryan Seacrest after the radio DJ (slash AI host, slash E! News Host, slash, slash, slash…) susposedly dropped Montag’s first produced song ‘Body Language’ last week.

Montag claims:
“This is not intended to be my first single, we were just messing around in the studio. I am furious over this.”

Despite the songs rave reviews (from all of about 20 teeny bop Hill’s fans), everyone knows the entire thing was a scam. Spencer the Pratt may look like a douche-bag, but he’s got some brains.

Montag’s song is suspected to recieve some air play on radio and in clubs around the country in the coming weeks.

But it’s ok, keep being ‘furious’ Heidi.
