Samuel L. Jackson took time out of his busy schedule Monday to visit his friend Owen Wilson in the hospital.  Kate Hudson left the set of ‘Bachelor No. 2′ understandably upset when she received the news.

Jackson was repulsed by paparazzi and media who were outside the Cedars Sinai Medical Center’s entrance and he let them know it. “I came to visit Owen Wilson, get the f**k away from me. Why are you guys here?”

Kate Hudson was in Boston filming her new movie when news of ex-boyfriend’s suicide attempt broke.

A source who was on the set said, “She looked upset. She was on the phone, pacing back and forth. Then her handlers came out, and covered her with an umbrella, and she was ushered into a white SUV and she took off.”

So what was the reason behind the attempt on his own life? Was it drugs (specifically cocaine) as Malcolm McDowell hinted on a Cleveland radio show this morning?  Was it the breakup with Kate Hudson?  No one knows for sure.  One thing we do know for sure is that everyone is pulling for him.
