Inmates at Pentonville jail in London are bummed that their icon Pete Doherty won’t be playing a gig for them.

A performance by Babyshambles was vetoed by the U.K. Prison Service for well..obvious reasons.

An inmate told the Independant that a concert by the junkie and his band would prove to be inspirational for those with problems similar to Doherty.

“They should have let him come because he knows he has the same problems as us. The only difference is he can afford the drugs.”

Way to be persuasive, Billy Bob.
