Britney Wants ‘Maxim’ Cover

Britney on Rolling Stone’s October 2003 issue

After last weeks disastrous performance at the VMAs Britney Spears is still looking for the magic elixir that will boost her career.

A source told OK!,

“Brit’s in damage control mode now. She’s been talking to the folks at Maxim about doing a photo shoot. She wants to be on the cover as quickly as they can shoot her. She sits around reading Maxim all the time.”

An industry insider says that Britney may be trying to recreate her Rolling Stone cover from October 2003.

“The last thing she did that really reminded America of her allure was her sexy Rolling Stone cover from October 2003, so the idea of another high-profile cover is completely logical.”

OK! magazine has some advice for Maxim if they so decide to use Britney for a cover, “Let’s just say… keep her dog away from any pricey designer clothes.”

I have better advice: Don’t do it!
