Christina Aguilera has had her ups and downs in life but claims life has never been better since meeting her husband Jordan Bratman.

She told Britain’s Grazia magazine,

“I feel so happy in my life right now. I feel comfortable about myself - completely secure - and that has nothing to do with being married, because you can easily marry the wrong person. It’s about being with the right man and having gone on this journey and getting to this place where I am right now.

I had a very emotional childhood and heavy past and everything to do with domestic violence can color you. But ultimately, it’s all about choices, not victimizing yourself and having the strength and maturity to choose the right people.

When I was younger, I was very different. I was rambunctious and I took on my sexuality in a very aggressive way. I was young and sex, rebelliousness, angst and aggression were all part of who I was. I’ve got much more relaxed and playful these days. I’m still a very sexual person but I don’t want to be so aggressive. I want to be more tongue-in-cheek.”
