Controversial and catty, not everyone loves Sarah Silverman. But for those who can appreciate her twisted humor she is wildly entertaining.

In Season One of The Sarah Silverman Program you learn about Sarah’s character. She’s a juvenile, arrogant, bossy, loud and egotistic. But somehow manages to still have close friends that she meets with daily at a local coffee shop.

Her core of friends begins with her sister, Laura, who’s a nurse and pretty much takes care of Sarah, Laura’s boyfriend, Jay, who’s a cop, and her two ‘orange’ gay friends (who are a couple) Brian and Steve, and are also her neighbors.

In each episode Sarah plays up a different stereotype. She will spontaneously decide to experience something off the wall and at the end of every show she tells her dog, Doug, about what she learned from it.

Whether deciding suddenly that she is a lesbian (episode: The Muffin Man) or that she wants to have a daughter so she can compete in a beauty pageant, Sarah is always up to no good.

The Sarah Silverman Program is available on DVD October 2nd and Season Two starts Wednesday October 3rd at 10:0pm/ 9:30CT.
