It was all about getting the CD version of your favorite records, even if you had to pay thru the nose for imports, only to see that $30 Simple Minds CD turn up as a $12 budget reissue two years later. I was in year #3 in college, making friendships that last to this day. Lethal Weapon + Robocop, massive crush on Whitney Houston(look how that shit turned out).
