Britney Spears has had her visitation rights suspended due to her failure to comply with court orders. . .again.
Britney did not provide the drug testing agency with her contact information, so therefore they couldn’t get a hold of her to perform her random testing. “Petitioner’s visitation with the minor children is suspended pending Petitioner’s compliance with the court orders.”
The next hearing is October 26th, when Britney is due back in court and may have her visitation rights restored. Her parenting coach is to submit their report to the courts before then.
Is this a f***ing circus or what? I have never gone through a custody battle before, but can someone tell me if this is normal? I mean, I have never heard of someone going to court weekly or more over anything!

No this isn’t normal. I have tried for 5 years to get my ex to have to submit to screenings and even parenting classes and the courts won’t make him (maryland). And when I refuse to let him have the kids (because I can smell he has been drinking), I get pulled back in court on contempt.
IMO. They are trying to set an example of her.

IMO, I think it’s her attitude towards the courts and anyone who has authority to test, observe and report on her as a parent to the courts. She just keeps acting like a brat - “You guys can’t tell me BRITNEY SPEARS SUPERSTAR what to do - I’ll show YOU who’s boss!” - attitude. Does she even remember she has kids???????
I think the judge probably doesn’t feel it’s best for the kids not to see their mom so he’s giving her EVERY OPPORTUNITY to get her shit together. And yet she can’t do it–I agree, Logan, she’s being a brat. I bet if she toed the line for a month she’d get whatever she wanted. The judge probably hates giving the kids to Kevin–his lifestyle isn’t really conducive to kid-rearing. FREE SFP AND JJ!!!!

I have never heard of anyone getting THAT MANY shots at regaining custody in such a short amount of time. It makes no sense to me!
So if she’s ok this week, what’s to say she will be next week? It’s a fucking circus I tell ya.

It doesn’t sound to me like she is getting a chance to get her kids back; just to have visitation at this point. She will have to wait much longer for any kind of custody restoration. But, if you can get visition restored it is better for the kids, so I don’t think they are bending over backwards for her, but for her kids. It is good that they are keeping on top of her.

If she would just do what shes told, she wouldnt be in court all the time. The judge seems to be trying to give her chances, and it seems like such easy things for her to do, and she still wont do them. The judge seems to be trying to get her to comply and she seems to be saying F you to him, so there is no telling what he will do when he gets totally fed up with her crap. I dont think most judges in most states would do this. I live in Texas, and unless you are setting your kids on fire or selling them on the internet, they dont want to “interfere”. Maybe Britney should move here, she would fit right in with all the rednecks… and we have Dairy Queen! With a drive thru! YEE HAW!
Logan and julie are right. I grew up in CA, and was in court regularly with my mom trying to get my dad’s act together. But it sure as hell wasn’t WEEKLY. This girl’s been treated like royalty most of her life, and she just can’t and won’t believe that SHE has to follow orders. They’re giving her chances for the sake of the kids, but it seems like it’s just not as important to her as showing the world that “no one tells Britney what to do.” The courts will realize this soon enough, and stop giving her all these chances.
i agree with short. even if you are making just the slightest little bit of an effort, they will let you see your kids. a monkey could probably get custody, really.
