A Seattle woman claims that magician David Copperfield raped her.
She says that she was raped by him while in the Bahamas. She did not report the incident to authorities until she was back in the United States. Seattle police have turned her case over to the FBI.
FBI officials raided Copperfield’s Las Vegas warehouse. A Seattle FBI agent says that it’s related to the woman’s case in Seattle.
“The investigation is related to a Seattle case. The Seattle case is pending and that means we can’t say anything about it.”
David Copperfield is the master of illusion. If he can make an airplane or the Statue of Liberty vanish in thin air he can surely make himself scarce. If not his fat wallet should be able to make the charges disappear.
