- Kelly Slater was detained in Israel this weekend after being involved in an altercation with paparazzi who attempted to snap pictures of he and Bar Rafaeli. This isn’t the first time Kelly has lapped up Leonardo DiCaprio’s sloppy seconds.
Meanwhile Leo is enjoying Paris, (the city, not Hilton) and is hiding behind a beard, glasses and a hat.

- Is Lindsay Lohan engaged to poseur boy RileyGiles?
We’re still trying to figure that out. Lindsay was seen sporting what looked to be like an engagement ring last week, but she claims it was a present from her dad. However, a deejay for KFRX in Nebraska is claiming that Riley admitted that he and Blowhan are planning to wed and Lindsay’s bodyguard also told TMZ it was true.
In related news, DrunkenStepfather.com wrote to Riley’s ex-fiancee to see if they could ruin the couple together, via the internet. That or they could just hookup.

- Malibu is on fire!
As you know many celebrities live there. Due to the fires a couple celebs have been evacuated (James Cameron & Olivia Newton-John) and many more homes are in danger. PCH has been closed in that area and students at Pepperdine University have been evacuated from their dorms.
It’s tragic for many but all X17 seems to care about is if Britney will be ok.

- Speaking of Britney Spears, she has regained visitation rights with her kids in the ping-pong of a custody battle between her and the boy’s daddy, Kevin Federline. But people are talking more about Britney and her new, plumped puss, (no, not THAT one!) more than they are her visitation rights!

- …and in other news, I am sad to tell you that Van Halen’s comeback tour might not be as great as we once thought.

Let me straighten out something here. First of all, Van Halen is entitled to a flub or two. Live concerts are full of glitches. BFD. BTW, Bedhead, since you’re not a fan of Van, you can sit this one out. I was at the Chicago show on the 16th, and they rocked it. Yeah, I admit that Roth has the same ‘lyric amnesia’ that Vince Neil does, but in that case, I’ll forgive it if the rest of the band is cranking, and the Van Halen family took care of business, especially Eddie. For someone who’s been through cancer and alcoholism plus a divorce, he was bouncing off the walls. I’m not sure who was having a better time; the audience or the band, but I sure got my money’s worth.
[...] say it again; for all the BS that went on before the Van Halen tour, I was just amazed that it even got off the ground, and things are going as good as they are. Eddie [...]
