The Museum Of The Moving Image was founded in 1977. Its mission statement is to educate “the public about the art, history, technique, and technology of film, television, and digital media and to examine their impact on culture and society.”

Tom told Entertainment Tonight that the event was an opportunity to thank everyone he’d worked with over the years.

Tom said of his wife Katie,

“She’s an exceptional woman — she ran that marathon, she really inspires me!”

Other stars who attended the event included Barbara Walters, Tim Robbins, Julianne Moore, Kenneth Branagh, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.

Tommy needs some higher lifts! And doesn’t Katie look gorgeous? Meooow!
