Lindsay Lohan, who was convicted on two counts of DUI in August, began the community service that was a part of her plea deal.

Although Lindsay was sentenced to four days in jail she was was told she could makeup for 2 of the days by doing 10 days of community service instead. (She was also credited one day served from her July arrest.) In addition, she was placed on three years probation and must complete an 18-month alcohol education program.

Lindsay helped out at the American Red Cross blood in a suburb of L.A. suburb Monday. She was on time, arriving at noon. Staff met her in the parking lot and took her inside where she worked until 7pm. Not a bad day’s work! She left with a book titled, ‘Blood’.
