The always bizarre Marilyn Manson wants his name in the Guinness Book of World Records - and the way he plans on doing it might give you the willies.
Manson wants to wants to break the world record for sharing a bath with snakes. The title currently belongs to ‘Texas Snakeman’ Jackie Bibby who bathed with 87 rattlesnakes for 45 minutes. Bibby holds four world records.
A reported source close to Manson said,
“Marilyn is desperate to get into the famous book, and wants to do it for something people will associate him with. He thought about all the wacky records he could try and break, and came across Jackie Bibby’s record. That’s when he decided he wanted to try and break it.”
Texas Snakeman has said of the snake bath, “They can go wherever they want as long as they don’t start biting. The key to not biting is for me to stay still. Rapid movement scares a rattlesnake. If you move real slow and gentle, that doesn’t seem to bother them.”

I have been handling snakes with Jackie Bibby for 30 years. I happen to be the man who places the rattlesnakes in the tub for Jackie. If Mr.Manson wants this record he needs to be very careful! rattlesnake bites are dangerous and painful! “I know i have been bitten 5 times”.so Mr Manson better get someone who is a very good snakehandler because hes going to need them!! thank you Doug Dugger
