Dennis Quaid’s twins have fully recovered and are finally home with their parents once again.
Dennis and Kimberly’s attorney, Susan E. Loggans told People magazine, “The twins are back home. Their condition is fantastic, they’re smiling. Zoe looks like her mom, and Boone looks like his dad. They’ve fully recovered from the accident and it’s doubtful they’ll suffer long-term effects from the overdose.”
The babies were hospitalized at 12 days old on Nov. 20 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA after accidentally being given 1,000 times the recommended dose of Heparin on Nov. 18.
“The Quaids are very religious, and they believe their children’s recovery is a real miracle,” Loggans added.

Dennis Quaid sues over twins overdose (DL)

I don’t know if the babies are out of the woods just yet, so let’s all keep them in our prayers for a while. And I’m 100% for the Quaids suing the makers of herapin for not properly labeling the vials to show the difference between 1 and 1,000. This is what killed 3 babies in Indiana this past year. Now, granted, there are many cases where medicine has saved lives, and that’s fine. However, medicine can just as easily take a life, because in most cases, it is controlled poison. I’m not totally against medicine, but it sure isn’t the be-all and end-all that it’s made out to be.
