Amy Winehouse had an unadulterated meltdown before being questioned by authorities yesterday.

The soul singer screamed and bawled uncontrollably in her home before psychiatrists were called in to calm her down. (Sedatives anyone?) Amy eventually calmed down enough to be taken in - but the appointment with authorities was almost called off due to Amy not being mentally stable enough.

The police were instructed to “tread carefully” because of Amy’s weakened mental state.

Amy was questioned for more than two-hours, fingerprinted and DNA tested before being released to her parents.

I love how the police were told to take it easy on her. Isn’t everyone who is being interrogated by police just a little fragile mentally? The last thing Amy needs right now is people taking it easy on her. It’s about time someone stepped up and gave this bitch some tough love!
