Yulia Volkova, of the Russian lesbian duo t.A.T.u. gave birth to a baby boy yesterday.

The announcement was made on the group’s website yesterday. “This morning at 6:35 a.m. Yulia Volkova’s son was born! …The birth went fast and without any difficulties. Both mother and baby feel good. Last night Yulia and Lena had a New Year party in a close circle of friends and their team.”
The father has been named as ‘Parviz’, but I am entirely unsure as to if he is a boyfriend or merely a donor. t.A.T.u.’s web site went on to say, “He didn’t leave her for a second and cut the cord off himself. The boy looks a lot like Daddy – as it should be. Yulia and Parviz [the father] keep the baby’s name secret.”
Both women reportedly had a small party the night before the birth and were up until 2 am. Yulia was awakened two hours later with labor pains. So I guess they still hang out, but are they still lovers? Were they ever truly lovers? I always figured it was a publicity thing…

Man do you not know anything about t.A.t.U. They were only sort of pretending to be lesbian because the men who put the ad in the paper for a band told them to. Neither one has ever claimed to like women. There was a pseudo-scandal about it when idiots in the US who also had barely heard of them found out they’re actually hetero.
strange..why people want to pretend?
Things idiots do for publicity. I am sure having a baby is part of their publicity plan as well. These idiots need to just go away for a long time.
The whole lesbian thing was just part of the group’s image (it was the idea of their manager Ivan Shapovalov). It was all an act to gain publicity.
I actually saw a concert where they kissed on the lips, and then one of them (I don’t remember which one), not knowing the camera was still on her, wiped her lips with her hand (looking somehow disgusted).
