As I reported earlier, police were called to Britney’s home after she refused to hand the boys over to Kevin Federline’s bodyguard even though her visitation was over.
It took three hours after police arrived to diffuse the situation, and it ended with Brit being taken away in an ambulance on a gurney.
LAPD Officer Jason Lee stated,
“While officers were on the scene, they observed Ms. Spears under the influence of an unknown substance. She is now being taken in for an evaluation, more than likely to a hospital. There were no reported injuries to anyone involved including the children.”
However, reports are coming in that Jayden James was also taken away in an ambulance, although it’s not known why at this point.
Britney’s dad, KFed and the boys all were seen at the hospital after she arrived.
The scene was crazy with tons of cops, police cars, fire trucks, a couple ambulances and even a police helicopter in the immediate area.
I’m sorry but, I am thrilled this is happening. She needs to get her shit together or something terrible is going to happen. Just the fact that the boys are subjected to this bullshit constantly is terrible enough. She needs to lose the kids. Hell, they need to lose her. Until she can take care of herself she cannot take care of her babies. Period.

F*cking Lunatic! If one of my babies was in another ambulance going to hospital, I wouldn’t be smiling like she is, I would be in tears or riding with him. I am so sick of people ripping into KFed, apart from NYE (which he deserved), how often is he photographed out drinking, being off his head, or in anyway harming his children?! He is a better parent than she will ever be!
But even though she needs desperately to get it together, don’t you think the paps, the press, KFed, any of them bear a modicum of responsiblity as well? She obviously isn’t well but the circus comes to town every damned day in her world. She can’t move without someone taking a picture. Some say STAY HOME. They take pictures of her AT HOME, in her backyard, of her babies playing in their own, supposed to be safe backyard. I don’t excuse her behavior, no way, but seeing she is obviously a “mess”, and contributing by pressurizing the situation doesn’t win any awards from me either for those doing it. It’s a sad situation all around and it will only end tragically if intercession isn’t taken. And then they’ll move on to the next sad situation. Don’t get me wrong….the press, et al, are not to be held solely at fault, SHE needs to take steps to heal herself, but they really should step back and be part of the cure rather than part of the burden. YMMV
Her smiling? Not real. She’s not there, ya know? And THAT is beyond sad.
A picture is worth a thousand words! She loves the attention, this won’t stop until she gets past that. I don’t think she cares what she does, as long as she gets attention. I don’t think she thinks about the consequences, or she doesn’t care. Wait till she has her freedom taken away, which hopefully will be soon.
Sorry, but I still feel a little sorry for her. She is obviously mentally ill, and has not been hospitalized until now?? Was she even ever on medication for her mental condition? It is weird that she’s all smiling. I hope she gets help, and the kids do need to be taken away. Sad.

Oh yes, she is TOTALLY bonkers, but I can’t get over how many people were in that video! Is it always like that outside her house? I’ve seen the usual crowd of 20 or-so paps following her around in other pictures and in videos, but I’ve never seen anything like the hundreds of people who were lining the street in this video. She needs help, yes, but can you imagine living like that? Horrifying.

I agree with you Laurie…I kinda feel sorry for her as well. I think it’s a sad day when everyone makes Jokes of her mental illenss instead of taking it serously. I agree that Brittney obviouslly needs to take her mental illness serously as well but damn girl probably needs to be forced into a hospital before that will happen. I couldn’t imagine having mental illness and being in the spotlight at the same time. I can only imagine how that would only make the situation a million times worse then it is. Sad
oh come on… you people are so harsh on her when you don’t know anything about her, really. all she tells the press is probably what she is instructed to, and that smile on her face might as well be a mechanical reaction from someone who spent their life in front of cameras.
How could she want even more attention? All she has to do is poke her face out the window and pictures of it will be all over the web and magazines.
And mental illness?? Who made you all shrinks? The police and doctors with her are still assessing the situation, but the oh-so-qualified readers of the celeb-blog have already set the diagnostic and passed judgement on this woman, when all they know about her is what reader-greedy magazines offer, and it’s often just interpretation. Including this article: an interesting read, but no facts, just maybe’s.
So at least try to take it easy till you know whatever “fats” the media will decide to provide you with.
Obviouslly I don’t know for sure that she has mental illness, but that’s what It looks like from what she has done. I don’t think someone who didnt have mental illness would have done half of what she has done. I am not trying to attack her as I feel bad for her situation but lets be real about It. I don’t think sane people would put their kids in dangerous situations like she has. Hopefully she gets better soon for herself and those kids.
Ok I am no doctor but Dr. Phil obviouslly is and this is what he had to say about Britney. Sounds like a Dr. agrees with us that she has Mental Illness, i guess we are qualified readers after all everyone. lol

Personally I think that she could be smiling at the EMTs because they are trying to help her in this picture. But, of course, everyone else assumes it is because she wants to lose her kids. Get off her back !! It’s not easy to raise children under the spotlight while being young! No one would never understand the feeling. People, in general, are way too harsh to judge Britney especially if they have not had children at a young age.
