Another weekend of craziness for Britney Spears and anyone involved in her circus.

- After being admitted to the UCLA Medical Center last week, Britney’s dad, Jamie, was granted control of her personal affairs as well as her medical records. That pissed Britney off because she apparently ‘feels hatred’ toward her father and freaked out in all her British glory when she found out. Her legal staff are headed to court today to try and have him removed as a co-conservator.
- Britney’s hospitalization has been extended 14 more days. Her psychiatrist requested the hold. People magazine is reporting that although Britney gets to wear her own clothes and enjoy some personal belongings she is in a padded room.
- Britney’s mom, Lynne, pushed a photographer’s camera out of her face while at the medical center visiting Britney. The guy got right up in her face, I don’t blame her. I think I would have flipped. What a rude c*cksucker! This after Los Angeles councilman Dennis Zine announced a plan to push for a measure to create a ‘personal safety zone’ for those in the public eye.
- According to one report Sam Lutfi uses Britney like a puppet, most likely due to her mental health, and is able to control her and use her, then brags to everyone about it. He won’t be seeing Britney for a few weeks as he has a restraining order against him, keeping him from visiting Britney while she’s hospitalized.
- On Friday Britney’s dad reported that some of her belongings had been taken from her home in a possible break-in. An investigation is ongoing, and Sam Lutfi was questioned. However, police do not think Sam Lutfi is responsible although he’s the first one to pop into everyone’s mind.
- In offbeat Britney news, choreographer Hubert Essakow created a 14-minute ballet dubbed, ‘Meltdown’, that is based on the bizarre life of Britney Spears. The dance follows Britney as she shaves her head, deals with photographers and ends with her being carried out on a stretcher. It was performed this weekend at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Is it just me, or does Sam Lufti totally come off as the equivalent to Howard K. Stern (in comparison to the whole ANS drama) in this whole mess with Brit?
