Lenny Kravitz Hospitalized

Lenny Kravitz, 43, has been hospitalized due to a severe case of bronchitis.

Kravitz was admitted to the Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida on Monday morning. He had been battling respiratory tract infections since contracting the flu last month. Since then, his condition has only gotten worse.

A statement from the star’s spokeswoman reads,

“Due to extreme dehydration and fatigue, doctors were unable to control it with outpatient treatment and advised the singer to check into the hospital. He was taken this morning to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami for immediate treatment.”

No further details have been released an we aren’t sure how long Kravitz will be in the hospital. We do know, however, that he has been forced to cancel a trip to Europe to promote his new album.
