Natalie Cole took it upon herself to speak out against Amy Winehouse (who’s currently in rehab) and her Grammy wins, saying she didn’t deserve them because it sends a bad message to kids who are trying to break into the business.
Well, as some of us already know, Natalie is basically talking out her ass. But in case you don’t – here’s proof.
Natalie admitted in her autobiography, Angel on My Shoulder, that she had taken LSD, heroin and even crack cocaine.
She was arrested for possession of heroin in 1975, and around that time her son, Robert, nearly drowned in a family swimming pool while she and her late husband Reverend Marvin Yancy were on a major drug binge.
Hmmm…that’s funny, because it was also in 1975 that Cole received a Grammy for Best New Artist and then another for Best R&B Performance, Female, for “This Will Be”. Then in 1976 she received yet another Grammy award for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female, for “Sophisticated Lady (She’s A Different Lady)”
So Natalie, either give back your f*cking Grammys or shut up. You hypocrite!

I so appreciate your writing about this. When I read what that twat said about Amy not being deserving of a Grammy I thought…who is then? If being a good role model was a requirement it might be different but this is a MUSIC award not a citizenship award.
Now I find out from Spicy that Natalie Cole is a big fat hypocite. What a twat loser. What did she think? Nobody was going to notice that she was arrested and won a Grammy the same year. Dumb and embarrassing.
