Retro Advertisements

You guys know I totally love anything retro. Art, clothing, music.. and these advertisements are pretty cool too.

My, how times have changed! Some of these are almost unbelievable. Eating lard, douching with Lysol (holy wtf) and doctor recommended cigarettes, really make you realize how much we have progressed in the past 50-60 years.

All I know is you ‘thinspiration’ bitches better not get any ideas with the tapeworms, alright?

These are great! I have a cookbook from 1929, and the bank ad is funny, since it says that finances are to complicated for women.

Yes, these are hilarious. I especially love the “web of indifference” metaphor. Glad you posted them.
