After a long hiatus from entertaining, Whitney Houston is set to perform for a charity event in May.
The recovering drug-addict diva will sing at the Caudwell Children’s Legend Ball at Battersea Evolution in London on May 8th.
Charity founder John Caudwell said, “We are thrilled to have an artist of Whitney’s caliber to headline the event. Last year was a huge success and with Whitney’s support, we are fully expecting this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever.”
Houston’s big comeback album will be released in November, and Clive Davis has confirmed that five songs are already completed.
Right on Whitney. She seemed like such a hopeless case a couple years ago. Sort of like Amy Winehouse these days. Blake is to Amy as Bobby was to Whitney.
It took years, but Whitney finally got away from that cancer of a husband and lived through the experience. She is on track to make an amazing comeback. You go girl.
