T.R. Knight, Janet Jackson, Andre 3000, Ashanti and Portia De Rossi are among stars paying tribute to a 15-year old murdered teen who was the victim of a hate crime.
The celebrities took part in a public service announcement that debuted on the Logo network Monday.
Lawrence King, a gay teen, was shot in the head for being homosexual on February 12th at his school in Oxnard, California.
Portia De Rossi says, “Imagine if wearing make-up and a dress could get you killed. For 15-year-old Lawrence King, that’s just what happened.”

I am glad to see Celebrities sending out positive messages like this one. I don’t get how and why these young kids and even some adults hurt people for being who they are. How is someone’s own personal style hurting anyone else? People need to be accepted no matter what their race,religion,gender, sexuality, or lifestyle may be. I don’t get why people can’t figure that out on their own. Sad
