I've never really gotten into Madonna but she has proven able to stay somewhat relevant over the years, even if it is glomming onto other's stuff and making it her own. But this? How does she try and do the whole I'm a Mom, writing children's books, my kids can't watch tv cuz it's bad, ya da ya da, then do this kinda stuff for shock value? Yep, persona for sure, but it just feels like she needs to grow the hell up, stop trying to be 20, and put out some stuff that doesn't rely on fetishism, child mauling, drinking like you're a damned college slut, or appearing to, and grinding on someone DEFINITELY young enough to be your son. Course, grinding on Larry King, who's an older man in her peer group, would be, just...well...EWWW!. but you get mah drift. I enjoy new music, I enjoy bustin' a move, don't begrudge someone their time or taste due to their age..everyone can enjoy anything...but there's just something about the desperation in her calcuating ways that makes it sad and irrelevant. Look at Tina Turner, Cher, others that have aged, but they STILL can rock it, while being appropriate. I guess M has just always gave off the desperate skank vibe to me...but she's a billionaire skank, so shit, I'd probably kiss her for a piece of that...well, maybe not...she did fuck that dirtball Dennis Rodman....cooties!
