Harrison Ford, 65, and Calista Flockhart, 43, might be getting hitched this summer. The couple, who have been dating for the past 6 years, plan on having a casual, small wedding. A source told the National Enquirer, “He said he’d marry Calista as soon as he’s finished with the promotional work for the new Indiana Jones movie, and Calista is holding him to his promise.”
- Ashlee Simpson has announced that she will indeed legally change her name to Ashlee Wentz after marrying Pete. But professionally it will be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. She says, “I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man. It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”
Gary Dourdan has plead guilty to two of the felony drug charges - possession of cocaine and ecstasy - against him. Another charge for heroin possession was dropped. Dourdan won’t have to serve any jail time as long as he enrolls in a treatment program by June 11th. TMZ reports that he has already done this. The class meets once a week for 30 weeks.
- Country singer Chris Cagle and girlfriend were arrested early this morning for domestic dispute. The couple were drinking at a local tavern when they started fighting. Once they got home it got ugly, with the girlfriend hitting him with an umbrella and Cagle hitting her with a purse. Police responded at 4:40am, taking both to jail.
Who knew John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten) had a heart? Lydon claims he would love nothing more than to write a song for Britney Spears to help her turn her personal and professional lives around. The punk pioneer says, “I haven’t written a song for Britney yet but I would love to. I’d like to help out because there’s a girl who needs some help. She’s been hurt. And hurt is the root core essence of good music.”
- Madonna’s adoption is finally official. After a year and a half, a Malawi judge finally approved the adoption of David Banda to Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie. Madge’s lawyer Alan Chinula stated, “We are very happy with what the judge has ruled. Finally the court has granted Madonna full adoption rights of the boy. It’s all over, thank God. It is a positive and beautiful judgment that will have an impact on Malawi’s adoption laws.”
