Florence Henderson, 74, says her advice to former “Brady Bunch” son Christopher Knight fell upon deaf ears and she still feels the same way now that she did then.
That his marriage to Adrianne Curry will end in divorce.
“Christopher Knight is like my son and he was very involved with this person on The Surreal Life. He asked me to counsel them – I am a certified hypnotherapist – but I didn’t really want to do reality TV.”
Henderson says that she thinks that the couple’s VH1 reality show, My Fair Brady rushed the two into marriage far too quickly.
“They didn’t take my advice at all! And as you may have seen, they did get engaged and they did get married.”
She adds coyly, “Maybe I will counsel the divorce.”
You know what? I bet she’s right.
Sometimes I like Adrianne and sometimes I don’t. I like the laid-back Adrianne – and I love her locker room type humor. However, it’s her nagging at Christopher and manipulating him into getting what she wants that I find incredibly annoying.
I think these two think they love each other, but when it comes down to it, I’d bet he simply married for her body and she married him for the financial security and the father figure fantasy . .
I think Adrianne makes more money than her husband, she certainly works more. If you cared to watch the show, you would see how sickening in love with him she is. I dont understand why, I think hes a jerk

Chris married so beneath him and it shows. This women has not been working (as far as I can see) since the flop of the last “My Fair Brady.” The last time I saw her was when she was jumping in front of cameras at Tori Spelling book signing. It was sooooo pathetic. Florence, it is too bad you could not have made her disappear. I for one think she has a filthy mouth, is drug addict and all around low life. Chris was so desperate to get back in the limelight that he would do just about anything. I would not watch either of them in any sort of show. Maybe divorce court though!!!

For Florence Henderson to use the Television Critic’s Association as a platform devoted only to disrespecting another individual who is completely unrelated to the Television movie she was supposed to be promoting is grossly unprofessional, irresponsible and immature. Ms. Henderson has been in this business a long time and should know better by now. Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry never asked Florence Henderson (an actress) for counseling. Ms. Henderson doesn’t personally know Adrianne Curry so she has no basis in which to publicly voice inaccurate and hurtful judgmental opinions about Ms Curry or Knight’s decision to marry her.
For the record; Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry enjoy a solid healthy relationship in a happy marriage.
Adrianne is one cool chick. She’s beautiful, cool, and fun. Yeah- she can act a bit young at times, but hopefully she’ll snap out of that as she gets older. Chris is a troubled former child star with some issues of his own. I think they’re relationship progressed quickly and openly in the public eye, but I think they’ve grown to understand one another and they balance each other out. Their relationship appears to be a lot of work, but at the end of the day, they always come back to each other want to make it stick.
Adrianne and Chris may have gotten married faster than people think they should have, but my gosh….millions of people have and have their marriages have lasted lifetimes. Come on Ms. Henderson, don’t be rude. Don’t judge or use a forum like you did to accuse people of doing exactly what you are doing yourself. Promoting yourself.
As for the reality show, most marriages don’t hold up after doing them. Look at Hulk, Whitney/Bobby, Jess/Nick….I mean you have to give them credit for making it and staying together. Kuddo’s to those two love birds. Marriage is hard and I think they are working on it just like the rest of us. Hey, I give them props for that.
