Jay Leno is set to retire from The Tonight Show, but don’t worry, he’ll remain the host for almost another year.
Leno announced at the Television Critics Association panel on Monday that he will be leaving The Tonight Show on May 29, 2009.
Conan O’Brien will be taking over the job on Monday, June 1st, as previously announced.

So it was a toss up on who to watch, Leno or Letterman. Leno almost always won out. When Conan takes over I’ll be watching Letterman all the time. I have watched Conan a number of times over the yrs, He is not only boring , he’s an idiot. I suppose this is in NBCs master plan to self destruct.
