Natalie Portman, 27, and boyfriend Devendra Banhart, 27, have split up after six months.

The couple hooked up after Portman starred in his indie-folk “Carmensita” video. (Which, if you haven’t seen it, is a trip, YouTube it.)

They met after she invited him to donate a track for her iTunes charity compilation, [Big Change: Songs for FINCA]. In return, she graced his video with her presence, for free, of course.

The couple had traveled to France and Israel during their relationship.

I always thought she was way out of this guy’s league.  But hey, she likes ‘em hairy and a little eccentric..
