DJ AM made his first public appearance Monday when he attended the memorial service for his friend Chris Baker who was killed in the tragic Learjet crash on September 20th.
He arrived in a green polo shirt, which was the color everyone was asked to wear to honor the memory of Baker, 29.
More than 300 people showed up to the service which lasted 2 hours. Baker was remembered by many who stood up to share their experiences.
Baker was Travis Barker’s “right hand man,” and Barker is said to be devastated at the loss of his good friend. He was unable to attend services as he himself was just released from the hospital burn center. He is heading back to Los Angeles as we speak – on a bus.
Baker is survived by his wife, Otillia Villar, and 2-year-old son, Sebastian.
