I don’t know about you guys, but I am totally looking forward to NBC’s new sitcom, Kath & Kim!

How can you go wrong with Molly Shannon and Selma Blair?

The American adaptation of the Australian hit comedy series, “Kath & Kim” stars Molly Shannon and Selma Blair as the hilarious and iconoclastic mother-daughter duo.
“Kath & Kim” focuses on Kath, a cheerful, foxy, forty-something and her self-absorbed daughter, Kim, who have the love/hate, push/pull dysfunctional relationship that only a mother and daughter could share.
Kath has finally found love in the form of a sandwich shop owner named Phil Knight, played by John Michael Higgins. Kim is a self-absorbed princess newly separated from her husband of six weeks, Craig. Kim decides to move back home, putting a damper on Kath’s new romance.

    I can’t stand Molly Shannon. Good concept show (copycay show) but I won;t watch her.

    I LOVE the Australian version and am hoping the US version can do it justice – I bet they’ll need a couple of episodes to get it right – just like when the American version of The Office started ….
