Debbie Matenopoulos’ husband is filing for a divorce, and sadly, she found out this weekend after reading reports on the internet.

Jay Faires separated from his wife back in March and is now asking for a divorce.

Matenopoulos told People magazine,

“I am extremely saddened by the dissolution of my seven-year relationship with my husband. I am not a proponent of divorce and I believe in working things out. So you can only imagine my extreme sadness and disillusionment when I was informed of my husband’s divorce proceedings, much like you were, by reading them online.”

Faires, a music executive, is citing irreconcilable differences and is asking that his ex-wife not be awarded any spousal support.
