Doctors have told Patrick Swayze, 56, that his cancer has spread and he has limited time to live.
Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January. It has since spread to his liver. He was told that once the cancer spread to his liver that would signal “the beginning of the end.”
The actor has been fatigued and suffering from increased weakness in recent days. He has been receiving Cyberknife radiotherapy at Stanford University’s Medical Center which has been beneficial up until this point.
Swayze has kept busy this year, he just finished filming The Beast in Chicago, where he had been working up to 12-hour days.
The Roadhouse star said earlier this year,
“I’m still fine to work, I haven’t changed – oh, I have changed, what am I saying? It’s a battle zone I go through. Chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels.”
Damn, that’s the exact same way I lost my Dad in 2007….

My husbands Father had the same cancer and was given 6 months, he lived five years. My Grandmother has survived seven different cancers in ten years and is 89 and has out lived several family members including a sister who also had cancer. He is a very lucky man to be given the chance to be loved by so many who have never meant him. The best thing is that he and his wife had a good marriage that survived Hollywood, and it will survive cancer as well.. my prayers are with them both.
He was always terminal; I think that pancreatic cancer is the worst because you literally starve to death.
