A former hospital worker has plead guilty to illegally accessing and selling private celebrity medical records.
The woman, Lawanda Jackson, is a 32-year veteran of UCLA’s Medical Centers. She worked as an administrative specialist.
Celebrities whose records were stolen include Britney Spears, Maria Shriver and Farrah Fawcett, who is battling cancer.
For the felony charge, Jackson, 49, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Once released, she will be court supervised for three years and have to pay a massive $250,000 fine.
She will be sentenced in May.
