Simple as that. That's why she contacted her assistant, in order to be discovered. McCready wants Clemens to "run to her side" and leave his wife of course, or tick his wife off if he reacts to this obvious "rouse". If Roger Clemens goes to her because of this stunt...it will cause fights, tension and resentments between him and his wife...and McCready knows this. She couldn't get him to leave his wife, so she has started these emotional guilt games with Clemens. He's in for a ride if he reacts even a little to this stunt. It's a game of manipulation.
