The catty bikini girl on the first episode of American Idol, Katrina Darrell, sure made a splash during her audition.
Before singing for the judges, the the 20 year-old from Chino Hills, CA told Ryan Seacrest that she was going to kiss him after she got her golden ticket. And to the dismay of rookie judge Kara DioGuardi, who told her she should come back naked next time, she got that ticket.
But the guys liked her, and hey, she was spray-tanned, had an ass that pointed toward the sky and was one cocky little minx.
Welcome to the web Ms. Darrell. I have a feeling you are going to be the next biggest thing on the internet, American Idol or not.
Hell, she’s figured out that a little bit of sex via a bikini off the beach would garner her TONS of camera time & it did… Seems like she has one leg up on the competition. (Although I doubt it would by Seacrest holding it up as he doesnt like sharing his attention.)

I’m not even sure what I think about her, I know what Kara was trying to say though, the girl has a definite ability to mimic but I didn’t see any emotion on her face or in her manner. It felt dead to me and no amount of T&A could make her seem to have any feeling at all – she’s just wooden.

She was great and didn’t offend anyone at first. I thought her singing was decent. The new judge did not have to show her up by singing. That was the first mistake made. Kara didn’t have to put the bikini on I think she would’ve gotten a ticket anyway. I see a lot of women on these shows are now pulling a “Megan” (from charmed school Rock of Love, I Love Money and etc.) to get attention. Kara didn’t need it.
