Capitol One Issues Customized Nick Nolte Credit Card

David Mackie, a 35-year-old salesman from Oklahoma, decided to have a little fun with his credit card.

Capitol One was offering to personalize cards with a chosen photo and Mackie took them up on it. The photo he picked ended up being of actor Nick Nolte’s  2002 booking photo.

Funny, yes, but practical? Hardly.

Not long after the card was issued Capitol discovered their error, sent a new, standard card to Mackie, gave him a $50 credit and asked for the card back.

Mackie obliged, sending the card to Capitol One, but not before scanning it so we could all have a good laugh.
