Jillian Barbarie Reynolds recently spoke one-on-one with Steppin’ Out’s Chaunce Hayden and dished on what led up to her firing by 20th Century Fox for Debbie Matenopoulos.

Let’s just say she is still bitter.

Jillian also talks about Playboy opportunities come and gone, Howard Stern’s wedding to Beth Ostrovsky and of being dissed by ABCs Dancing with the Stars.

On being replaced by Debbie Matenopoulos:

Getting fired from my nationally syndicated television show was behind disappointing! We had done the show locally for ten years on Fox. Then the big Fox came in, 20th Century, and said, we want to take the show nationally. So I did it for three years. Then one day they told me their going in another direction and let me go. I got fired but still kept my local show. So I would do my local show from 7 to 9am and then get up and let Debbie Matenopoulos come and sit in my chair from 9 to 10 and do it nationally. It was so f**king hurtful and brutal to me! But f**k them. They gave me no explanation why they fired me. They just fired me. But the great thing for me was that the ratings went down 33 percent after I was fired. I was harboring some pretty nasty feelings for a while. If you get fired from a gig you’re usually fu**ing gone! I had to go to f**king work every day! It was awful dude! I just wish they gave me a reason why they fired me. I still don’t know why.

On doing Playboy:

Playboy approached me four years in a row. That was back before TMZ and the Kim Kardashian’s of the world where you get a career for just having a sex tape. But I thought, “I have a journalism degree. This probably isn’t for me.” And they were offering a nice chunk of change. I was just so nervous about losing my career as the morning show person. It’s my bread and butter. But by the fourth time they asked me I was questioning my decision more. Then Playboy just stopped asking. But posing nude in Playboy has made so many careers. It made Pam Anderson and Carmen Electra. If I was asked again I would definitely consider it. My husband would be very supportive!

On not Dancing with the Stars:

I was pitched to them. My name came up and they turned me down! They weren’t interested in me. But I would love to do it! Brooke Burke is a friend of mine and she did so amazing. I’ve had other friends who have been asked and turned it down. But what’s the downside? It’s a great show and it’s wonderful exposure. Brooke was the mom of four and look at her! I just love it. But they passed on me.

On Howard Stern’s celebrity wedding:

I’m sure Howard Stern had a real wedding besides the celebrity packed wedding. I mean, none of his family was at the celebrity party. None of Beth’s family was at the wedding either! I know for a fact that they attended a special private ceremony. The other thing was just something for the public. But it was still very beautiful.
