Police are questioning Chris Brown who was reportedly involved in a domestic dispute early Sunday morning.
He is currently under investigation for domestic violence felony battery. Felony, because injuries are visible on the victim. Brown turned himself into police Sunday. He was booked and his bail was set at $50,000.
Police will not release the name of the victim. Officer April Harding explains, “Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality. If police locate Brown, yes, he’s subject to arrest.”
Both Brown and Rihanna had Grammy performances scheduled but both canceled.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Brown and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument, according to a police statement. After stopping his car, the R&B singer and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The LAPD received a 911 call reporting the disturbance.
When officers arrived they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, the statement reads. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker, police say.
The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Rihanna’s publicist has assured those concerned that her client is alright. “Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support.”
According to The Insider.com, a Grammy rep told them that Rihanna’s face is “slightly bruised” from a car accident (yeah, right!) and That they were unsure who would be filling in for her at the awards show.
