More and more information is being released regarding the circumstances surrounding Chris Brown and Rihanna and it’s not getting any prettier.
Today we are getting word from law enforcement officials that the fight started over a “booty call” text message from a female that Brown had been seeing on the side. Rihanna found out it was the female in question and was understandably upset. As the two argued, Rihanna threw Chris’ Lamborghini keys out the window.
Brown, unable to find the keys, he went into a rage and came back at Rihanna, strangling and choking her until she was unconscious. She remembers him telling her, “I am going to kill you!”
When she regained consciousness Brown had fled the scene on foot, abandoning his rented Lamborghini. (Photo shows where police took fingerprints from the vehicle.)
Upon their arrival, police were so concerned with Rihanna’s condition that they had her taken immediately to the hospital, where she was treated and photos were taken as evidence.
Brown was later booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He was released after posting $50,000 bail.
You know, it just goes to prove you never know what goes on behind closed doors. Rihanna is lucky he didn’t kill her. I hope the little prick pays for this. Any man who beats a woman like that deserves jail time.
Chris admitted in an interview once that his father beat his mother so often that he thought he was going to kill his father when he was a kid. Sadly, it’s obvious the asshole gene was passed down to him.

Wonder if she will go back to him, makes excuses for his behavior and even lay some of the blame on herself.. go on and on about how he knows what he did was wrong and he plans to change for her. That he witnessed or was abused as a child yada yada yada. I grew up watching abuse like this so I witnessed first hand what these jerks say and do, and the only way to stop it is to make sure these they cannot get their fix, meaning take away their punching bags ladies! Kick these abusive aholes to the curb with the rest of the trash where they belong, and find a man who will love you the right way.
I am not going to believe a single thing until I hear it from Rihanna or Chris Browns rep or from official court documents. The press loves to just keep saying whatever they think will sell papers, mag etc. Next he’ll have had a gun with him and Jay-Z was the rapper she cheated with. I mean so far Paris Hilton is the gross person he was texting with, so they say. AND I AM STILL SEEING HIS WRIGLEY COMMERCIAL 5 TIMES A DAY.
Before you clowns jump all over chris brown, perhaps you should wait unitl ALL the detail eventually come out. You may find yourself looking like a JACKASS if it turns out Rihanna isn’t so innocent.
I wanted to clarify that Chris Brown said that his step-dad, not his actual father, used to beat his mom. While I don’t believe that there is such a thing as the asshole gene, I do know that studies have found that children who witness domestic violence are more likely to become perpertrators of violence themselves later in life. I think that Chris Brown needs to get some psychological help, because he did seriously injure Rihanna. I feel sorry for him, but I feel more sorry for Rihanna.

You have a point. This “abuse” had roots,it did not come out of the blue. The sad thing is Rhianna, like most abuse victims stayed with him,may have been afraid to leave him as well. Like most DV victims, she may have been beaten up before and never reported it.
Rihanna may also go back to him after all this drama which is typical of abused women. She needs the support of her family and friends. With that around her she may go all the way and see if this idiot woman beater faces justice.

…Friends of the Barbados-born beauty came out claiming that this wasn’t the first time things between the couple got physical. Apparently, she showed visible bruises on her neck back in December when the two were going through a rough patch.

There are always “flag” signs with domestic abuse. Rhianna, should press charges and go to the fullest strength of the law. She as a celebrity, can send a strong signal that no man is above any woman and cannot get away with crime, celebrity or not. She might even become a spokesperson to DV victims everywhere.
I just don’t understand how some people try to stick this on Rhianna, or say let’s wait to hear the whole story, The fact still remains that she was BEATEN almost to death and no matter how much you want the story to change,real men don’t hit women.

I admit what he did was terribly wrong!! but if this wasn’t his first time getting physical with her why didn’t she leave him then?? I think everyone should wait to hear both sides, his career could possibly be over and she’s still sittin pretty. I think there’s alot of dramatics going on and like previous bloggers everyone will be surprised when it all unravels. We are a group of friends that know and worked with a young woman named Joy Loftin while she was employed at the Vanderbilt YMCA here in New York City. During the length of her employment, several extremely disturbing incidents occurred that cause us to be concerned and call into question the motives and the integrity of Shan Colorado Finnerty, Hortensia Colorado, and Elvira Colorado.
On several occasions, Joy came to work with visible bruises on her neck and arms. She eventually explained to us that Shan had punched, beaten, and choked her and she asked us for help. As wardens for the community, we tried to place Joy in women’s shelters around the city in an effort to mitigate the abuse. However, at the urging of Shan’s mother and aunt, Hortensia and Elvira, she returned to their apartment and refused to press criminal charges against Shan Colorado Finnerty. The abuse continued and one day, she came to work very early, visibly distressed and crying, with more bruises and abrasions. She said that Shan had verbally abused and beaten her once again; that she wanted to return to California, and that she was going to quit her job and reunite with her family. She tendered her resignation later that week. Out of concern for her safety and in an effort to find out what happened to her, we requested an officer from the domestic violence unit of the 5th Precinct conduct a welfare check at their home on Kenmare Street. However the officer was unable to find anyone at the apartment, and therefore could not verify that Joy was safe. We realize that she is suffering from battered women’s syndrome and may be unable to help herself due to the isolationist environment that the Colorados have formed around her. Abusive men are often enabled by their family, while the victim is persuaded to believe the abuse is her fault, and the pattern of emotional and physical trauma continues. Taking into consideration what has happened to Joy Loftin, it is especially deceitful that their display “Altar: El Llanto De La Resistancia” at the American Indian Community House was in part dedicated to victims of domestic violence.
In light of these events, we are dismayed, disappointed, and outraged to know that members of the American Indian Community would commit, condone, and perpetuate domestic abuse and violence, while simultaneously conducting workshops, writing and performing plays, and displaying works and art that would have the public and those who support them believe otherwise. It is a vulgar and offensive misrepresentation of American Indian Culture, and further support of Coatlicue Theater, Hortensia Colorado, Elvira Colorado, Shan Colorado Finnerty and their work is tantamount to supporting domestic abuse and violence. Considering their duplicitous behavior, having them represent American Indian Culture is an insult to the dignity of American Indians and an affront to human beings.
We therefore will not attend nor support any Coatlicue Theater productions or events where they will be featured. We will be encouraging others that might consider attending, participating, or funding them to do the same. Our actions are warranted, and to be associated with the aforementioned individuals and Coatlicue Theater would be equivalent to enabling and contributing to such offensive behaviour. We are urging everyone to reevaluate their support of Coatlicue Theatre and the Colorados, and question the individuals concerned. Until the responsible individuals are held accountable and measures are taken to verify that the abuse is no longer occurring, we will continue with our boycott of Coatlicue Theatre and we will strongly urge others to do the same.
lol, this is pretty funny. I mean, not the incident, rather the circumstances… Lol! I’ve got the feeling that things are going to get FAR more dramatic, and new things will suddenly come along from Rihanna. I’m pretty sure she saw Chris Brown was getting a few BJ’s from Paris or who ever via the raunchy messages, she gets super pissed off, starts mouthing off at him. At this point he’s probably saying: ok it’s overs, get the fuck out the car. she responds by grabbing the keys of the rental car, and tosses them out window… at this point he’s probably really pissed off, and gets out the car to find the keys to a car he doesn’t own… I really think Chris should be honoured for getting this far with out going banana’s over her. but while he’s looking for the keys the rage starts building and soon enough, he’s temper explodes and he no longer can control himself(you’d be surprised at what sheer anger can do to a person, and it’s a blind rage as this was a strangulation, not a punch to the face… when you get that angry, your body does whats easiest and that would be to rap your hands around something and death grip). Once he came out of his anger, he suddenly realised just what he had done, and the he most probably thought he had killed her, at which point he was confused and just bolted, which does show a man is serious distress…
Now, what this does prove it that he might be able to get off this without going to jail, maybe 400 hours of community service BUT if his lawyer is clever, he could plead a state of temporary insanity, and could say that Mr brown just needs anger management courses and loads of community service… but the way i see it, the damage is done, My brown’s career is ruined and a clever lawyer could use that to wain over the jury(you america’s your juries hey?)
However, this all does seem very well staged, like it was such an amazing sequence of events. but hey, who am i to judge,

Rihanna Gets All-Star Love
Rihanna is feeling the love in the court of public opinion—and on the basketball court.
During a break in the action at the NBA’s All-Star slam-dunk contest Saturday at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, the Rihanna song “Umbrella” played on the PA system.
Many in the sell-out crowd—which included Eva Longoria Parker, Corbin Bleu, Jordin Sparks, Ludacris, Maria Shriver, Spike Lee and Elliot Yamin—promptly cheered when the tune came on.
Chris Brown had been scheduled to perform at several of the All-Star weekend events, but canceled in the wake of his arrest following his alleged assault of Rihanna.
An NBA official tells E! News of Brown’s pulling out: “He’s not exactly missed. He does not currently represent the image we are trying to project.”
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” wrote Brown. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”
