Octopus Mom needs more arms, legs and money!! Nadya’s birthing pattern was no coincidence and law of averages hasn’t been repealed.Nadya persisted in defying odds. Kept right on keeping on; implanting 6 fertilized embroys over and over. All her prior six kids were under six years when injected with last six that bore octups. Set of twins from next to last six injection were just over one year old. Sooner or later the law of averages wins out. It caught up with Nadya!!The definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again; never expecting different results. What a farce Dr. Phil’s interview turned out to be. Besides being a ratings whore, Dr. Phil is a pompous ass. For sure we haven’t heard he is dishing out any money to Nadya. It’s his gig. Why not? Isn’t he to set an example first? Like with his Britney Spears rescue, he is Johnny-on-the-spot to dig his heels into whatever smut will bring him viewers. His interview with Nadya was phoney. As well, so was Nadya. Dr. Phil needs to look at “The Man In The Mirror.” Angels in Waiting needs to care for the micor-preemies not Nadya. They need professional care not an array of neophites who want to be caregivers and have no experiance with preemies who can have a number of developmental issues and needs that far surpass neophites and Nadya’s ability. Six kids and fourteen new babies under one roof that is in pre-forclosure” Not ideal. A more peacefull, secure, safe and stable enviro is a must. Those preemies should not be released to Octo-Mom. My bet is that those in charge of making the decision as to when and where these children go — will NOT release them.

As for your “they could become the president”, that’s exactly why malpractice insurance for OB/GYN’s in Mississippi is astronomically expensive. See, it works like this: poor mother has a baby that dies at childbirth and sues the doctor. The case goes before the community, which is also mostly poor, and the mother says, “She could have been the president!” even though that is highly unlikely in reality. And then the doctor has to pay large sums of money because the poor community is waiting for their chance to sue a doctor. One of the reasons that medical expenses are so high is because of high priced malpractice insurance that doctors are required by their state boards to have. And honestly Jack, none of these kids will be anything close to President and you know it.

How exactly is Nadya going to support 14 children? Graduating from Millionaire School might help, but as far as I know, that school doesn’t exist. The last statistic I read on the cost of raising a child estimated the total cost from birth to age eighteen to be $100,000. That stat didn’t include premature birth costs and associated health costs, college, or nannies; and that stat is from ten years ago, so the cost has to be much higher now. But let’s go ahead and use the out of date statistic: 14 children times $100,000 is $1,400,000! You gonna chip in on that bill Jack?

It’s also very obvious to me that her mother was not “on board” with Nadya’s decision. I was raised to believe that you help your family in times of need whether you agree with them or not, and that is exactly what Angela Suleman is doing. What kind of grandmother would turn her back on her grandchildren just because she was upset with her selfish brat daughter? That would make her as bad as Nadya.

As for moving on, you are absolutely correct Jack; we should move on up in there, take her children to be adopted, throw a tight white jacket on Nadya, and toss that nut-job in a padded cell.

Now I don’t think people should have multiple embryos created and implanted. Not when they don’t have the financial wherewithall to raise them. But the damage is done. The kids have been conceived and born. Suleman says she can take care of the babies, so give her the chance to do just that.

As for her mother? She was apparently “onboard” with the whole thing or she never would have offered to help raise the kids.

Her mother reveals that Nadya not only went ahead with IVF and waited until she began to show to break the unwelcome news to her parents….but even after she began to show, she concealed her condition …telling her mother it was a* * tumor **making her belly appear enlarged.
