Yvette Prieto, 30, and boyfriend Michel Jordan, 46, have purchased a home in a Miami suburb.

But they didn’t pay for the entire $280,000 home with cash – they took out a 30-year-mortgage on the balance, which was $196,000.

The three bedroom home is considered to be quite modest for the former basketball star, at a mere 5,500 sq. ft.

Prieto, a Cuban model, filed for bankruptcy in 2002 and is said to be rebuilding her credit with the mortgage.

When asked about the home she simply replied, “I can’t talk about the house just yet. Sorry.”
