There has been a lot of speculation online this weekend as to why Lindsay Lohan had a warrant issued for her arrest.

Most thought Lohan probably violated her parole or failed a court ordered drug test. This morning TMZ is reporting that neither is true.

Lindsay has been enrolled in an alcohol education for more than a year but recently switched to another location. She either was late or missed a class becsause the program director reported it to the courts. From there the judge issued a warrant.

Linds claims that is was the paparazzi’s fault and that they made it impossible for her to arrive on time.

The song and dance around the warrant is apparently not a big deal. Lindsay’s attorney feels confident they will get things squared away in the courtroom. The only thing that might snag them along the way is that a new judge has been assigned to the case and she’s a real pitbull.

Attorney’s will go to bat for Lindsay this morning. She has no plans to attend court unless the judge orders it.

Lindsay’s arrest warrant has been recalled in a hearing that lasted only minutes. She is enrolling in a new alcohol education program and will have to prove compliance to the courts next month.
