A man has been arrested in New York after he tried selling Paris Hilon’s lost cell phone on Craigslist.

Marc Marrouche, a New York hotel manager, got ahold of the phone after his girlfriend found it in a club back in 2005.

Police learned about the ad and assigned an undercover officer to the case. The officer replied to the ad, met with Marrouche and arrested him.

He has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property. If convicted he could serve up to a year.
